Last week Michael Forbes, Solutions Partner for the Vestige Group, attended the Empire State Towing & Recovery Association’s show in Lake George, New York. This organization, known as ESTRA, has been committed to education, legislative advocacy, and network development since 1980. While the crowd was smaller than last year, attendance was still strong and the attendees were very excited to be there.
The three-day event included a high-quality, high-profile truck show, networking opportunities, and keynote speakers. One of those speakers was Bob Gorman, President of ESTRA. Michael spoke with ESTRA leadership and members about the industry’s challenges, including liability protection and improving driver behavior.
Michael attended the truck “Beauty Contest” which featured spectacular trucks from Mike’s Heavy Duty Towing, Don Oralls, Erichsen’s Auto, East Coast Towing, and more. There were interesting towing demos, including a rotator truck demo led by ESTRA VP Bill Hafner of Towaway Towing & Recovery.
